The Japanese Horrors in Penang

A map showing places that are affected by Japanese Occupation and come out with a lot

horrifying rumors that spread until today.

In this assignment, I’m assigned to research on buildings in Penang that have connections and design a map for them. My idea for the map is using the Japanese rumors that are still spreading at specific places nowadays.

The buildings affected are mostly in Penang island while some are in the Mainland, showing that Penang Island was affected the most severely in Penang.

Map Rough Sketch

A rough sketch of the map, mostly planning the arrangement of the buildings. The arrangement of the buildings are based on their current positions in Penang.

There’ll also be a small road sign telling people where the places are. There is a small bridge at there showing the Penang Bridge between Georgetown and Mainland.

The buildings at the left side are in the Penang Island while at the right side are in the Mainland.
